Out -patient means reasonable and customary charges for all medically necessary treatment and services provided by or on the order of a licensed physician to the insured person, as a result of day-to-day sickness or injuries. The total limit of Rs. 5000/- per month is for the employee and their family (including self, spouse, and kids) who are already enrolled for IPD. This OPD limit cannot be carried forward on a monthly basis and all the OPD claims shall be reimbursed in the following month’s payroll.
